So I just turned in Chicago’s secondary and answered no to the question asking if I have ever been in front of a judicial committee. My mom just reminded me that I technically have been. When I was 17 I got pulled over for speeding (like 5 over) and since I was a minor I was required to go to court with my parents. The judge told me to take a safe driving class and my ticket was expunged. Is it bad that I didn’t disclose this on my secondary?

And I think that "judicial committee" means a university committee that looks into student misconduct.

Hey! Jumping in to revive this thread for a sec because I was curious about a similar thing. This is the exact wording that they use:

Judicial History
Has any of your previous behavior(s) resulted in any review or action by a judicial committee? Have you ever received an honor code and/or conduct violation at any time while enrolled as a full or part-time student?

Would you say that this is definitely about a university committee? I've just never heard that wording and want to make sure I understand. @throwaway2020MD if you ever heard any more about this I'd love input 🙂

It's definitely about school misconduct. Outside of school would be referred to as a court or tribunal, not a committee. This is asked for elsewhere, and is publicly available through court records.
