So, I have been volunteering at a free clinic for 2 years and have been asking for LOR from both volunteer coordinator and a doc who works there.

Obviously I prefer to get it from the doc after hearing her saying that "there is a certain way I write it." couple of weeks ago since I don't want a generic one.

But it's somewhat difficult to reach that doc, so I may have to ask volunteer coordinator for recommendation, and I honestly told the volunteer coordinator about my preference. Do you think she could possibly think that I am an elitist and could make her LOR even worse than the generic one?

I know that I am super squemish right now but am extremely exhausted after volunteering so, please calm me down thank you.

I think that person won't be as good the doc, but if she knows u well don't worry

agree and important thing is that she realizes that I think that way.

dude, have you read volunteer coordinators' letters? they want volunteers so they write them well, and they've written a ton of them so they're really good(not just good words, but individualizing them). now, this may not hold true everywhere, but i read my volunteer coordinator's--holy crap it's amazing!

and yea, she'll probably write about what an elitist you are and how you'd make a terrible doctor 🙄
