I booked two interviews on back to back days. They're both in the same cities, but now I wish I hadn't. The second interview is a program that I really want to get into, and now I'm thinking that this won't give me enough time to reflect and fix my mistakes. They won't be my first interviews, but I'm concerned that I somehow screwed up here.

I'm as much of a fan of needless rumination and self-flagellation as the next person, but even if I thought an interview went poorly I put it out of my head quickly. Back to back should be fine.

Back to back should be fine. You don't really need to reflect afterwards in my opinion. Just put it out of your mind and go on to the next.

Believe me, most interviews go fine and medical students are bright enough to behave themselves for a day. Back to back interviews in the same schedule is the right strategy, unless your goal is to spend money and minimize time spent on rotations.

I did a lot of this. Everyone does a lot of this. They all went on to do fine.

I'm doing a back to back interview. I'm happy about it. Only one drive. Saves time and saves money.
