It is ridiculous that california is making it hard for graduating doctors to get a license to practice while letting these incompetent midlevels full independence to practice nursery medicine. Such a shame.

Heavy taxes, lower salaries, medi-cal, increasing restrictions for physicians while decreasing them for NP's. It's a beautiful place but I don't regret leaving the state.

Coastal CA will continue to be very popular for residencies and jobs though. Different priorities.
