Yes, they removed it a while ago and replaced it with #11.

Does anyone know why it was removed (ie. was it because it wasn't representative of the real test)?

Also I don't know if this is legal or not but if someone somehow saved this test in any format I would appreciate it if I can obtain a copy.

They came out with 11, and removed 6.

As far as second question, there are people who have them, but I doubt if you will get them.

If they took the time to pull it from the system, there must have been a good reason. Taking it for practice probably isn't going to be helpful. I'd stick to the ones they released.

They said they'll be using it in "other test prep products" so it's probably not a case of it no longer being worthwhile to use.

The Official Study Guide is better (MUCH better).

I took it a few years ago but if I remember correctly I found 6 slightly difficult and on par with the other AAMC exams. However, 9 and 10 were more like the MCAT that I took in 09. Taking a practice AAMC is never a waste of time IMO.

I have all the amac test (including amcas 6) and amcas 6 is worthless for practice. It is nothing like the mcat now and it is extremely easy

In regards to test #6 I took it last year and dont really remember it all that well. However, I agree any AAMC practice test is not gonna hurt. I no longer have access to it but I did find on youtube where ExamCrackers goes over all the questions and answers. This actually helped me even though I was not taking it. I just listened to how they attacked all the questions and the correct answers.
