it is two hours past match time and nobody is saying a word.
Who gets to play scramble?

i don't get to scramble 🙁
Thanks!Congrats, Lane. Welcome to the wide world of anesthesiology.
First you'll have to survive internship.
anyone who matched advanced and knows the city care to share? Or is that a match violation? (I failed to read their friendly "ADVISORY" the other day, it was too long)
If it says you matched, then most likely you matched a 4-year program. I matched for advanced, but not PGY-1 and it says "congrats you matched in advanced but not your preliminary year", or something to that effect.
This is something I kinda expected if I got my #1 on my match list. That being said, My #1 has prelim-surg spots available for anesthesia residents that they don't match into. You must 'scramble' for them. Orignially, I was fine with doing prelim-surgery, but now I am wondering if I should try and match a prelim-medicine first and use the prelim-surg as a back-up. All my other choices on my match list had prelim programs attached.
Any thoughts? I only applied to programs out West.
MATCHED Thanks for jacking my tread!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone post the open transitional year spots???? for this year
Question do you think anybody would post if they had to scramble????

As an osteopathic applicant, I did not interview at any preliminary programs with the rationale that I would scramble for an osteopathic internship should I match into an Advanced position. My ROL was a healthy mix of Advanced and Categorical positions without supplementary lists for internships under those Advanced selections.
Looking at the NRMP website, the "Congratulations, you've matched" message for such circumstances as this seems ambiguous. Am I to understand that this means that I have matched categorically or that it is still possible that I have matched into an Advanced program?
Where are people getting the data about unfilled programs? I just checked the NRMP site and I don't see a report, just a fellowship report.
