I realize this forum primarily addresses MD/PhD issues, but I am currently debating whether I should do PharmD/PhD-Epid (unfunded/funded) or just a PhD-Epid (funded). I want to work in industry (pharmaceutical company), government (health dept, etc.), or health setting (hospital, cancer center), but not in academia (university). I'm finding it tough to decide.

There's no reason to do a PharmD unless you want to practice as a pharmacist. A PhD in epidemiology qualifies you for most jobs in the industry and government.
