How will recent actions taken by this administration impact this upcoming cycle?

Hey folks,

The question says it all, really. I am applying MD-PhD this cycle and am a little worried that the recent (and maybe future) actions taken by this administration will have an impact on the number of spots offered by MSTPs - is this justified? Or am I getting out over my skis?
