difference between MDs and DOs

I get the sense that DOs are less prestigious then MDs. Does anybody know the real difference?

yah, theres the D.O. stigma... blah blah... I'm over it.

If you want more info, there are tons of threads about this in the pre-osteopathic section. Do a search, and you should be able to find a lot.

Plus, theres a ton of threads that explain the history of D.O.s and other cool stuff like that.
