Different addresses on TMDSAS vs. AMCAS?

Hello,

Someone told me that I have to use the same address for both TMDSAS and AMCAS, which seems strange to me. Do the two systems talk to each other?

In any case, do you know if it's true? I meet the qualifications for Texas residency but currently live in another state, for which I also meet the residency requirements. Do I have to pick one for both?

You are a resident of only one state. Are you registered to vote? Where? Do you have a driver's license? From which state. Do you have a registered motor vehicle? In which state?

You'll have to make your stand. If TMDSAS adjudged you to be a TX resident, that's what you'll be listing on AMCAS too.
