I think I might have landed a student pharm tech position at a hospital as a P1. Could someone please tell me what the job is like? Things to do, things not to do, etc.? Are there any particular hours that are better to request?

What is it like working as a pharm tech in retail? Or different settings? Thanks.

I am not positive but most likely you will be delivering medications and stock to the different floors.

Did you not ask what responsibilities the position entails during the interview?

You most certainly will have a "manual labor" component to being an intern/tech in a hospital setting: making IVs, unit dose/cart fill, and deliveries. At my institution student interns do primarily tech work, but there are opportunities to get involved with projects and shadow every now and then if you seek it.
