Hey everyone,

Back in undergrad, I received a C- in Gen Chem II lecture and a B in Gen Chem II lab. That said, I am looking to take Gen Chem II lecture online (since the C- won't be accepted) through my DIY post-bacc since taking it in person is very inconvenient for my schedule. Does anyone have an opinion on if this would suffice to meet the Gen Chem II requirement, seeing as I already completed the lab successfully?

Thanks so much for your time.

Have you tried contacting any of the medical schools where you might apply? I am sure that different schools will have their own policies and guidance for you, and that may be worth more than speculation by students here. It sounds like you have the lab credits that you need to apply, but if you would like to show your aptitude and growth you would be much better off taking the full course again, preferably in person.

Yes, quick update - I reached out to a wide array of programs (~20 or so) and only one responded that the online lecture wouldn't be accepted (EVMS).
