Hi there! I am interested in doing a DIY post-bacc. I don't have to take all the required classes (still have remaining orgo 1 and 2, physics 1 and 2, and biochem). I work a full-time corporate job doing life sciences consulting (i.e., advising biotechs, pharmaceutical companies, etc.) which is pretty time-consuming - probably 60ish hours per week.
I've heard from admissions counselors that taking AT LEAST 2 classes per semester is ideal for a DIY post-bacc in order to demonstrate academic rigor. However, I am a little uncertain about my ability to juggle my current job with orgo and physics at the same time. Is taking one class per semester sufficient? Would it be unwise to find a less demanding job so I can take multiple classes at a time?
Appreciate any and all thoughts
