So I have very little time left before my dat as in days.. and i'm making 16's on bootcamp gen chem and like 17 on orgo. Panicking. I've went through destroyer and chad's videos and did all his quizzes and i feel i have a good grasp of everything. first test made a 21 bio 16 gen chem 15 orgo second test 18 bio 16 gen chem 17 orgo

just try and relax...bootcamp is much harder...especially for orgo and gen chem...i dont suggest doing practice test right before exams since it will likely lower your confidence...just review your notes and the mistakes on the exam and youll be fine.

Thanks @zagguru- I have a few days left, so i'm thinking about going through all of chad's quizzes in gen chem for a full day, next day going through all of chad's orgo quizzes and attempt to go through ferralis's notes once more.. oh and look over math formulas

Don't focus too much on your estimated scores. Try to see why you're getting the questions wrong, was it misunderstanding of the question or a gap in knowledge? The real learning comes from reviewing the exam and the questions you missed, marked, or were unsure about. Completing sets of practice problems won't improve your scores nearly as much as reviewing your mistakes and learning how to avoid them.

If you're missing questions based on a knowledge gap, go back and review your notes for the topic or concept. Figure out what piece of info you were missing and include it in your notes. If you're missing questions based on a misunderstanding of the question itself, try adjusting your test-taking techniques. Always step back after reading a question and figure out what they want, then solve. If you're running out of time, mark the hard questions and answer them last to ensure you get all the easy problems right. Lastly, I highly recommend taking the 2007/2009 DAT practice tests too, they'll be the best indicators of your performance.

Thanks @Ari Rezaei- I know all the information- I just get tripped up when its not straightforward- which I guess just means I'm not a good thinker. You are right. I need to properly look at what the question is asking- I def run out of time on the gen chem- because I try to re-read the question at least twice.. I'll continue to keep practicing tho- thanks!

You are in a really good position. All you need to do is to just keep practicing as many types of problems as you can.
And then solve questions given in a random order(bootcamp/qvault both offer this i think).
You'll get this down a lot faster than someone who's having difficulty retaining the material. Good luck!
