which of the following is FALSE regarding the digestion and absorption of nutrients?

a) chylomicrons are absorbed into lacteals for circulation in the lymphatic system after filteration through the intestinal blood capillaries

b) pepsin, produced by chief cells, converts polypeptides to smaller molecules

c) secretin is released into the bloodstream by duodenum

d) CCK is released into the bloodstream by the duodenum

answer is A. Why?

then how do chylomicrons get into circulation? im confused

They are non-polar so they go through the intestinal cells and then into lacteals (in chylomicrons). They travel through the lacteals until they reach the left subclavian vein via the thoracic duct. This is how they get into circulation again.
