So I took Physics I at at community college this summer and got an A, and was supposed to take Physics II at the same school. However, the professor is absolutely terrible, he hates giving out A's, and grades very unfairly.
I don't think I'll be able to get an A, and I'm not taking anything less than an A from that school.

Should I go ahead and drop it and then take it at my school next semester? I've heard good things about the professor.

go for it... 1 W is not a big deal... and i think schools prefer pre-reqs taken at your home institution.

but hopefully the problem really is the professor and not the material

just don't expect the uni physics course to be easier

Take your B and move on. If you study hard for this course, then your diligence will be reflected on the MCAT.

it wouldn't be a W i'm still within the drop period

sure, take the 3.0/B and get a 13 PS to make up for it

but seriously.. i may be biased but i think taking the course at the uni would be a better idea because it should be more rigorous.

edit: if no W then what are the drawbacks of just taking it at your university?
