Does anyone know what the mechanism behind the dipyramidole stress test is? TiA

This is what I got out of Lily's.

Dipyramadole blocks adenosine breakdown -> increased adenosine -> vasodilation of unstenosed coronary arteries -> increased blood flow in healthy arteries and relative ischemia of blocked coronary arteries -> "cold spots" on scanning or EKG changes

its basically like making someones heart act like its exercising without the exercising.
