For those of you who do discography, what syringe do you prefer to use? Do you do manometry on medicare patients? It seems the syringe would probably cost more than the reimbursement.
Anyway, if you can throw some brand names my way I'd appreciate it.

Also, considering adding vertebral augmentation. Anyone care to comment on whether they prefer balloon systems like Kyphon, or the systems like DFine with a probe that creates a void for the cement.

Steve had a company that had a $50 discometer. Cant remember the name of the top of my head. Ive used it a few times and works fine.

1) I'm using Stryker's Manometer for all my discos.

2) For vert aug I only do Kypho. I'm using 50% Kyphon, 50% Stryker.

I remember there used to b a lot of companies selling disco syringes. I'll look into the Stryker. Some insurance companies don't pay enough to cover the syringe. Would you consider doing it by "feel" with a 3 cc syringe?
Anyone tried the dfine vertebral aug system? I uses a probe to create a void which is then filled with cement. Unipedicular approach.
