I currently have a science GPA of about a 3.4 (and this will probably drop as my final grades come out) and haven't been able to get many As at all in my pre-requisite classes. I actually just received a C+ in my last physics course and am expecting similar in my biochem course. I feel like I've hit a wall when it comes to grades. No matter how hard I study, I feel like I can't beat the curves.
It's becoming so difficult to keep my head held high and have decided to take a gap year, so I have the next two full years to hopefully bring up my GPA with my upper division classes. I will taking the MCAT next summer.
I guess right now I'm just looking for encouragement and honest words of advice from other pre-med students. Any advice? Thanks!
