discrete vs. passage questions

I seem to be able to rock out on the discrete questions on BS and PS, but I have more problems with the passage-based questions. Is this typical or is there something I can do to improve my passage interpretation skills?

Yup, read and practice more, mainly practice more if your test is close. Not much else to it.

It all depends on the type of question you get wrong? Are the questions pseudo-discrete, verbalish, or critical thinking? Personally, I think the discrete questions are naturally easier because science majors are rigorously trained to answer in this matter. Best of luck... and practice make perfect.
