No. Disjunction refers to the splitting of chromosomes into sister chromatids during the end of metaphase/beginning of anaphase of meiosis 1/2. Whenever they don't separate correctly, it's called nondisjunction, it's how you get things such as trisomy 21 (down's syndrome), turner's syndrome, etc.

Independent assortment is just saying that the alleles are sorted independently of one another during the formation of gametes. Meaning, it's completely random which allele goes to which daughter cell.
