Hi I'm actually pre-physical therapy but i thought posting this in pre-med would get more views. So, basically i had an underage drinking and resting public officer charge. I had a lawyer dismiss both charges. When I applied to physical therapy schools I did not list this on the background check info because it was dismissed. The applications only asked for convictions, pleading nolo contendre, deffered prosecution or acceptance of the responsibility for a crime. I said no because I thought that a dismissed charge didn't need to be listed. Since then I have had interviews and been accepted to a program. I am wondering if anyone has experience with the background check process and thinks that this decision will come back to haunt me? I don't want to commit to the program that accepted me and then have them revoke my admission because of this. Thanks for any help!
