Hello,
I had recently transferred to a 4 year university from a local community college. Due to a ton of family and money issues, I had major issues with my classes and was academically dismissed from the university. I have transferred back to the community college and and taking just enough credit hours to be full time to avoid paying back my loans, while trying to work out my other issues.
I will be applying to my state's university soon for fall semester, but I am wondering whether or not I still have a chance to get accepted into DO schools by the end of the next school year. I will retake the courses, and that should bring my GPA back up to around 3.4-3.5
Based on practice MCAT I am expecting to get around a 30-32, and have plenty of volunteer experience.
I'm just really worried that the dismissal will be a huge red flag and no matter how my GPA and MCAT look they will automatically overlook me. Is this the case?
Thanks in advance
