hi, can someone clarify how Naloxone are dispensed in Texas? do you write up on a telephone pad order, and add any physician's name attached or your name instead? or do u just scan the product at the register only and sell it?

I was curious as well. Essentially, you need a prescription or a standing order. You can obtain a standing order from the Texas Pharmacy Association by taking some CE (see link below). Please see these following references, found googling "naloxone pharmacist texas":

i completed the CE through pharmacist letters. but how do u actually go about selling Narcan? do u just ring it out at the register? or is there a script pad or form u have to fill out before selling?
