Hey y'all, just wondering if anyone has any good resources for dissection videos. One of our professors did a series before he retired that is fantastic; however, it doesn't include everything that our Dissection of the Dog book includes.

I'm looking for video resources for our nerves/vessels/etc., specifically at the moment. However, I'm trying to gather good resources for my Little Sib, too, so anything would be helpful in the long run. 🙂

Maybe any good websites that helped them in Anatomy? Or any good lectures on panopto/lecture capture/whatever that could be of help?

Thanks in advance, guys!

Stumbled upon a Channel 4 series a while back called "Inside Nature's Giants". Unique animal diversity presented, detailed explanations, and it has Richard Dawkins (so you know it's legit). Excerpt and link to follow...

"The award-winning series that gets under the skin of the largest animals on the planet. Most wildlife documentaries show how animals behave, but by exploring their anatomy, Inside Nature's Giants reveals how these creatures really work."

Enjoy!

If anyone has good resources for horse/small ruminant dissections, that'd be awesome too.

I used this one for bones specifically.

A lot of my classmates and I used this to study for the rads portion of our practical.

Here's one for horse dissection:

I haven't used it yet (don't start large animals til spring quarter), so I can't say how useful it is. But I hope it helps! Also, I can speak for the usefulness of that radiograph website. It's really nice and helpful.

Here's another dog anatomy website, by the way:

I kind of wish we weren't on the horse already...but I'll bookmark that site and let you guys know if it was helpful.

ETA: This might actually be helpful since our professor helped work on this text. Or adapted it for our purposes or whatever.
