DIT says hypovolemic shock will have an increased CO, Goljan says the CO is decreased which makes alot more sense to me.

Thoughts?

I think DIT is wrong. Septic Shock is the only one I know to have an increased CO.

Well, I can see both. Less CO due to less volume, but also more CO due to sympathetic release (Beta 1 on the heart)... I'm guessing that the lack of preload will win out though?

yeah CO = HR X SV

Your SV is lower, but your HR is up. The individual dynamics might depend on the exact blood loss and sympathetic response.
