My diversity topics include:

-leadership (student government at community college)
-sports
-teaching (tutor, baseball coach)
-music (play drums for church band)
-growing up in foster care and working

Im just having trouble connecting these and one of my diversity essays is two pages and I feel like I need to include all topics to fill the space.

Is it okay to talk about many unrelated topics? Or should I try my best to keep an overall theme?

Thank you. One of my diversity essays says "2 pages single spaced max". Seems really long. If I just write one page about my experience playing drums at a church band while growing up in a foster home a working will this be good enough?

2 pages max. Doesn’t mean you have to fill all the spaces.
I think if you dig deep with your Forster home experience, you should have more than enough.
