Hello,
Is it expected for students to challenge themselves during a post-bacc? If you've had a poor history with a subject (I.e Physics and Chemistry for me), is it advisable to take difficult upper-level coursework in your problem areas during your post-bacc?
I'm looking at an Upper-Level Physics course, that a lot of people warn against, but is the only upper-level Physics course I can take. I withdrew from Physics the first time, and got an A- in Phys I, and another A- in Phys II. The same situation arises for Chemistry, where I got an A in Gen Chem I but a B- in Gen Chem II 🙁. Upper-Level Physics and Inorganic Chem are known to be very difficult. Should I take them? I am different now based on my previous trend, but I see a lot of risk here.
