I interview this week at DMU and was wondering if anyone knew their procedure for acceptance/denial time frame. Like do they tell you when the admissions committee meets, does anyone get accepted the day of the interview? I am curious because the clock is ticking for me at Scholl. They need an answer within 30 days and my number one choice is DMU. What have you heard?

Unless things have changed, the interview is on a Friday. The admissions committee meets on Monday or Tuesday (can't remember which) and you will hear soon after that.

Meghan called me monday at 4:30pm, I missed it and found out Tuesday. They're quick

I'm surprised she called you. Usually you can call on Tuesday to find out if you are accepted. That is up to you. The offical decisions is mailed to you and should be there in about a week.

DMU will not tell you the same day that you are accepted. DMU always interviews on Fridays and most of the time you will be able to find out the following Tuesday.

Hey feelgood i guess u r very happy. ur school doesnt have same day acceptance👍 . Is this something bcoz of ur hardwork (i mean did u spoke to the admission's office regarding same day acceptances) or the school has this policy from long time. i never got a chance to apply for DMU. is the AZPOD also same. didnt heard anything from AZPOD so far.

No this has been the policy for as long as I've been at DMU.
