So I got the shock of my life yesterday. I just sent in my application in on Wednesday and yesterday I got a call from Iowa saying they wanted to interview me. I haven't even turned in my transcripts, LOR's or anything. Let's just say I was really shocked that they called me so quick and without anything else in. I am very honored nonetheless.

I was just wondering if most people who interview there get in. Without going into much detail, it would just give me alot of comfort to know that.

I applied to Iowa on a Tuesday night in October. They called me the next day to interview as well. If you are a good candidate (good gpa, test scores, extracurricular activities, good essay, and have healthcare experience) they will want to interview you. They were the first school to call me in fact. Already decided on Temple though so not going out to Iowa. You will probably have a few more schools call you as well. If you want some inside info on DMU you should message Dr. Feelgood. He is the master of all the inside info on DMU because he is a student there. Best of luck!!!

Not to "knock" on Temple but I always encourage pre-pod students to interview at multiple programs. You don't know how good a program is until you have something to compare it too.

Interviewing at multiple programs is very valuable advice.
