Hi guys,

I've gotten interviews to both NSU and DMU (really excited!!). I was wondering if someone could quickly tell me what the dress codes are for each if they know.

Not that I mind... just curious.

Thanks in advance!

Kind of confused by your question...Lab dress code or interview dress code?

For lab, we wear t-shirts and new this year, knee length blue shorts with the Nova logo on it. Underneath, girls wear sports bras. I imagine shorts and t-shirts is pretty standard everywhere.

Although I did hear from a prof that was an IMG that when they took OMM, girls had to wear g-strings. Do I really believe it? Not sure...

At DMU we don't have a strict dress code--basically they want you to look professional, but genes/t-shirt is fine for most classes. For OMM we have uniforms that everyone has to buy for the school. If you have any other questions, send me a PM! I'm a 3rd year now...so I have a little more time on my hands to answer questions! Good luck with your interviews...you'll love both places.

I guess we have to wear our genes no matter where we go. 😛

At DMU the OMM uniform is just a blue t-shirt and shorts that say DMU OMM department.

edit: just saw that the title and the post don't match - so I'm confused. I assumed you wanted the OMM dress code. If you wanted general dress code there really isn't any. Just don't look like a complete slob or wear anything that looks like you are a prostitute.

Haha...yeah, whoops! Too much time reading medical jargon! 😳 Oh well! Make sure you wear Jeans AND Genes! 😀
