So I looked at a copy of my aacomas app that was released to DMU and I noticed that under the pre req section it has a section that says 3 credits of genetics is required. Did the school just recently add this requirement? I knew that it required biochem but I thought that was it besides the regular pre reqs.

"Highly recommended (not required) courses

Biomechanics, kinesiology, exercise physiology, genetics, abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, math (trigonometry or calculus)."

http://www.dmu.edu/pt/admission-requirements/

Not required. I'll be asking for my primary fee back if it truly is...

For KCUMB, I just found this thread and it's probably still the same for today's situation: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=143860

Basically if you had a class with any genetics in it, you can get the requirement waived. If you didn't, then you would take the class somehow before you matriculate.

The link you gave is for the physical therapy program.

But I think that AACOMAS may have made a mistake because the website doesn't say that genetics is required.
