DO 3.15c 3.03s 34MCAT School list

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The Touro's like high MCATs, as does NOVA if I am not mistaken. Otherwise try your luck at pretty much any school, you will probably get screened at the original 5 (KCUMB I know for instance has a hard gpa cutoff at 3.2). Try your luck at some of the newer schools - MUCOM, ACOM, or CUSOM for instance.

Is that sGPA or cGPA when people talk about a cut off at certian schools?

I'm looking to apply this cycle to DO schools and need some help making a list. This is my first time applying. I went to a top-20 UG and am finishing up a masters at a well-respected SMP program. Here are my stats:

uGPA - 3.14
sGPA - 2.89
gGPA (SMP) - 3.24

GPA totals - cGPA - 3.16
sGPA - 3.03

MCAT (8/13) - 34 (10/12/12)

Thanks for the help!
Honestly I would apply literally everywhere. Due to the low GPA and high MCAT, it may be a very random s
So yea, check in to particular programs. Some cut off at 2.8, others at 3.0, while others set the bar at 3.2
Okay bc my cGPA will be 3.3+ but if my cGPA is only a 3.3 then I would have to conclude that my sGPA would be closer to a 3.0 - 3.1 GPA. If I apply next June to AACOMAS after I take a May MCAT, should I retake science courses that I got C's in that summer at my local CC? Would my AACOMAS app be updated?

definitely apply to these:
Touro-NY
Touro-NV
Touro-CA
AZCOM
NSU
LECOM-B

And then 5-10 of these: Marian, Campbell, ACOM, LMU, DMU, KCOM, SOMA, COMP-NW, LECOM-E, WVSOM

Don't apply to Campbell, they have a hard GPA cutoff too

How about NYIT-COM? I have similar stats to yours and I'm also a NY resident!

Honestly, I'd apply broadly. Definitely the Touros and LECOMs. Awesome Sauceome and user3 gave you some pretty good lists. Avoid KCUMB and I think RVU, because of GPA cutoffs. Avoid UNECOM, KYCOM, and probably VCOM because of regional preferences. CCOM, MSU, KCOM, PCOM, etc. might be far reaches, but if you have the money, more power to you.

Yes. Always retake <B- if you have a low GPA, have the time, and you can afford it. If your classes end in August, your app will be updated by the time a lot of schools have just started their interviews.
