Do all schools let you know your application was recieved?

Hey guys,

I was verified on 08/28 and recieved a bunch of supplementals the following day (maryland, mwu etc). Only 8 (out of 15) schools have contacted me and show up in the portal as being under review. Will the others wait until it's mailed before contacting me? Kind of confused on this. Thanks!

That's pretty normal. Different schools move at different speeds. If there is a particular school that you are interested in you should inquire in the school specific thread to see what others are experiencing.
