Dude, calm down. I didn't read your post because it's a rant against me for no particular reason, and it's an attempt to aggravate the situation. If you don't like something, you don't have to respond. You're trying to aggravate the situation, when we are trying to reach the same goal of trying to avoid arguments. Now, I don't believe I said anything wrong about you in particular... so why are you attacking me?

Another internet technique I do not quite understand. Claiming another poster is "mad" or "upset" when in reality I am literally just sitting on my couch watching TV with very little emotional thought. Calm as a cucumber. Length of post =/= degree of attached emotions, ask Spectre if you do not believe me. I too would like to see worthless posts and weak attempts at humor with trolling decrease or ideally disappear. That is why I don't think you should object to the reasonable poster's disapproval of crappy troll humor.

Right... you weren't mad, but you just wanted to target me in particular, because I was "chastising" someone (when I wasn't... you can look in my post again. I was trying to reduce the intensity of the disapproval). It wasn't objecting, just a friendly reminder. I'm still happy to see you taking the time navigating the first page of the thread, saw my post, and began to criticize me in particular. Thanks for that. 👍 We were having a nice conversation, though off-topic, so it seems odd that you had to pick my post and criticize it quite harshly.

I debated not responding because there was reasonable discussion going on. Just felt like a shame to see yet another on-topic discussion (with current attendings and senior medical students, both DO/MD), about the USMLE and AOA/ACGME changes go awry. Once that had been lost, the thread's potential pretty much bottomed out.

And with regards to the my "navigation" of the thread, if you mean reading it haha, then yes I navigated the hell out of it.

And with regards to "why you", repeat offenders tend to draw more attention I guess.
