I was put on hold post-interview at one of my top choice schools. The big negative on my application is my GPA, which got pulled down to a 3.3 by a horrible sophomore year. It looks like I'll 4.0 this entire semester, and I have a tough schedule (biochem, physio, microbial genetics, immuno, senior seminar, and human prosection lab). I've also been volunteering all semester in a research lab. I know that if I get accepted then my verified AMCAS gpa is what will be calculated into their average, but do you think that this semester should make a difference? If so, how big of one?

Thanks!

Probably not, but it sure couldn't hurt.

I would definately update with your coursework - it won't hurt you!

Make sure that you update them with other activities you've been working on. If you are truly interested in attending a particular school, I've also heard it's helpful to send a letter of intent. You want them to realize you get all warm and fuzzy when you think about them at night.😍
