Reason I ask is if I remove one bad year I had in college, I would have a 3.7. (This figure is based on just calculating 3 years instead of 4; my aadsas information includes all the semesters, I calculated it out of curiosity. Instead, that one year puts me way lower for my cumGPA. That year I had a variety of issues going on in my life and the total credits that year was less that 27, but the next year I took 38 in the year and scored real well. Anyway, enough about that and I'm wondering if semesters are individually reviewed. Would it have been a good idea to say this in my PS bc I didn't. Thanks

yes they do. My interview was open file so the interviewers looked through all semesters. It's best to post as it is stated in your transcript.

nevermind

lol wtf are you talking about? Then again sorry I may have wrote it in a confusing way

I of course have sent all my information in and all GPAs verified, my question was if adcoms check individual semesters and realize the spike in grades and effort, not to hide a whole years worth of grades. I don't want to be rejected right off the bat.

haha, i read it wrong too. nevermind

Not that it helps now that you submitted but this section of AADSAS was probably where you wanted to include this information:

"*Has your education ever been interrupted or affected adversely for reasons other than deficiencies in conduct or academic performance?"
