Do DO schools send out secondaries before they get MCAT scores ?

Hey guys,

I applied to both DO and MD schools last week. I started getting secondaries from MD schools but haven't heard anything from aacomas or DO schools.

Do DO schools send out secondaries before getting MCAT scores ? Or they screen each and every application once its completed. I took August MCAT.

I started getting a few secondaries about two weeks after my initial application went out. I also didn't have MCAT scores on it since I took them in August.

I ended up releasing an older set of scores from 2002. I took it to see how I would do, but after thinking about it I realized that my scores were right in the average of students accepted to the schools I was applying to. So now those schools are getting my old MCAT scores from AACOM.

I just do everything backwards I guess!


But don't fret! I got the MD secondaries back before the DO secondaries too.
