I'm looking for feedback on DO friendly FM programs in/around Chicago. I'm not from Chicago but I am from the midwest so I'm planning to apply broadly throughout the midwest. Initially, I'm looking in to dually accredited programs and allopathic programs.

I know that the dually accredited programs include West Suburban, Swedish Covenant, Resurrection, and Illinois Masonic. I'm also interested in UIC, but they don't currently have any DOs- does anyone know if they're DO friendly? Are there any other allopathic programs that are known to be DO friendly? I would like to do at least one audition rotation in Chicago.

Thanks in advance for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

We're talking about FM here, not derm. Show me a program that isn't DO friendly.

I interviewed at almost every FM program in Chicago (there are about 20). Each one of the AOA and ACGME and combined programs were "DO-friendly". In Family Medicine, I think being a DO is always an advantage.

Baylor and University of Florida are not particularly DO friendly, though admittedly they are not chicago programs.
