Hello All,
I'm a post-bac. Since I'm from an engineering background, I have to take all the preregs and I'll be finishing the bare requirements before applying. I'm finishing up my first year (Bio + Gen Chem + Physisc). The next year would be O. Chem and A & P. I know this may not be competitive (vs those who have completed upper levels), but how often people getting accepted by meeting the bare requirements? I'm still planning to take the upper level courses, but that will be after applying. Or should I try to add some of the "recommended" courses next year to improve my chance? I'll shoot for a decent DAT, but for now just assume I have an "average" DAT... sGPA > 3.65.
Thanks and much appreciated!
*** The bare requirements ***
Biology
General Chemistry
Physics
Organic Chemistry
Anatomy & Physiology
*** The strongly recommended ***
Biochemistry
Cell Biology
Histology
Immunology
Microbiology
Molecular Biology
Genetics
