When the application goes out in June my GPA will be about 3.0 with a science GPA of 3.1

I'm taking Orgo over the summer so I'm taking the DAT in August/September.

Should I bother applying this application cycle or should I take another year to improve my GPA?

I would give it a shot this year. Do the best you can. Who knows what happens...

If you don't get in this year - at least next year you would be much prepared plus you will learn something this year's application...

It comes down to a question of whether or not you can afford to see $500+ dollars walk out the door. Not saying that you do not have a chance, but realisticly your GPA is not that high compared to other Pre-Dental students. So you would need to score very high on the DAT. If I were you I would save the cash and wait another year to apply, but if you have the cash then go for it.
