Hey everyone!

I have a 3.81 cGPA 3.85 sGPA & 25 MCAT (8/7/10). I have decent ECs and am currently shadowing an MD (expect to get a LOR from him). Did summer research internships for two consecutive summers and one year research at my university. ~150 hrs clinical volunteering, ~100 hrs non-clinical volunteering. Numerous leadership positions in clubs. How are my chances? Which schools should I aim for? Or should I go for DO? Not planning on taking a gap year or retaking the MCAT. BTW CA resident.

DO you have a shot. MD virtually none, unless you have something else amazing

To be frank: Your MCAT is not good at all, and even somewhat low for some DO schools as well (although @Goro can give you better insight).

At quick glance, all else seems fine, but we don't have details. Also, in the future, the WAMC forum is a more fitting place for this question, and may get you more answers!
