I have a 3.6 sci and cum GPA, 2yrs research and publications. I shadowed a
Podiatrist who specialized in diabetic care, was blown away, and really want to be apart of this field. I also took the DAT last year but changed my mind on dental school, my scores are 17/18/18. What do you think my chances are if I apply now, and what schools accept the DAT. Thanks for the Help.

sounds like you have a good chance

i would recommend taking the MCAT though to improve those chances greatly

I think the next time you can take it is January. That would be a good bet. However, you may try applying with your current scores and see what happens. Pod applications are very inexpensive. Some schools may accept your DAT score, some may "conditionally accept you" and ask you to take the MCAT, and well, ... you know. I would think you have a pretty good shot at most schools though.
