I did worse than before... so sad.
do I have a chance to get into ANY dental school?
I am planning to apply at least 7-8 schools..
Where should I apply...?
Also.. I am a texas resident.
do you think i should apply schools in texas? (my DAT is horrible 🙁 )

did you apply with the first scores? Or did u just decide its a retake automatically? Dude, a 20 isnt bad at all, now that you've retaken it and done worse, is actually WORSE then if you applied with your 20. Yeah , the reading wasnt impressive but i think you would have had a better chance before.

your GPA is high. DAT is about average.

I think you should apply to TX schools and apply now. Dont worry. You did your best. Leave it to dental gods. 🙂

Definitely apply to TX schools, and some big schools like NYU and BU.

How's your volunteer/community service/dental experience? If those are good, you definitely have a chance

You still have a chance. Some schools will take the higher score or will take the highest score from each section. If you are concerned about doing worse on a retake, contact the schools directly if need be!

Dont want to worry you but well your bio and RC scores are pretty low-average which is kinda bad since those are usually the first two scores schools look at. They determine whether you will do well in your first years of dental school. Your QR score is really high, but again most schools look at that only if you failed it and dont care much for it. On a bright note your GPA is really good so as long as you went to a school where GPA's are not inflated you will be in pretty good shape for at least home schools. Some other schools to look into are Boston University, VCU, NYU, UNLV I was able to get interviews there with my scores/grades.
