Hey guys, just wanted to get your input as I'm currently stressing a little right now. I'm in the Honors College at a top-30 university with very competitive graduate programs. Here's a short overview of me:

Overall GPA: 3.3
Science GPA: 2.9
BCP: 2.7
Graduating May 2015 (going to be a senior this year)

DAT:
PAT: 20
RC: 24
QR: 23
GC: 22
BIO: 21
ORGO: 20
TS: 21
AA: 22

Extra-Curriculars: Over 1000 hours of clinical internship at a pediatric practice for 3 summers and 3 winters, 40 hours shadowing a general dentist, lots of philanthropy work/dental volunteering, intraoral x-ray certified, etc

AADSAS was sent in June, completing supplements as we speak.

Do you think I have a shot at an interview at MUSC (OOS)/Boston University/NYU/AT Still/LECOM/Maryland (OOS)/VCU (OOS)?

Thanks!

I think you might have a chance. I would take more sciences classes though.

MUSC, probably not. The rest I think are a lot more likely.

The ECs and DAT may not be enough to counter the low BCP and science GPA. Apply, take more science courses to boost your GPA and hope for the best

Gonna have to agree with the what most people are saying about MUSC. Since it's a state-assisted school, it's already fairly unfriendly to OOS. There are not alot of seats for OOS to begin with and the high OOS applicants really doesnt help. OOS are usually cream of the crop.

I think you should have chances at the other schools though.

Science GPA is a bit low. Take some extra courses to bring it up. Also to answer your question, if you apply to enough schools and you apply early you will probably get some interviews. Cannot say which schools from your list will grant an interview. Check each schools website to see which one your academic stats are most equivalent to.
