I am from a rural town where resources relating to university are scarce, and people generally are not expected to go to college so I was not pushed to go into a STEM field. I would consider it to be a medically underserved community as well. Also, from 0-18, my parents made just below $50,000 for most years, so I would fall into the 25,000-49,999 range for ages 0-18 on AMCAS.

Edit: just checked underserved status, and according to this gov website, my county/town is indeed designated rural and underserved. MUA Find

So with your edit, I just need some clarification. Are you asking if you can self-report as an under-represented population? if so what is your race? Unforutanly growing up poor or in a rural is not considered underrepresented.
Or are you asking if you are a disadvantaged applicant? Which would be more important for qualifying for FAP for application and MCAT

When I said underserved, I meant being from a medically underserved community which is one of the things that can qualify you as disadvantaged as per AAMC. I am an ORM though yeah
