Do I have chance this time??

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
What has changed about your application from last cycle? From here you might have a chance but the GPA combined with the RC of 16 isn't helping.. If it was one or the other it would be different but who knows. I think you have a decent shot if you apply broadly but maybe consider a post-bacc?

Over DAT score is great especially with a 24TS. However, the 16RC could really hurt you since some schools have a cut off point at 17, and your GPA is below average. I'd recommend a re-take on the DAT just because of the 16RC. I'd also apply to at least 15 schools for you.

Want the truth?? I'm shocked that you didn't receive more interviews. I mean, okay, brutally honest, your GPA is slightly low and that 16 may stand out on your DAT, but who cares about reading when you have those science scores?

Moving forward, I would improve my Personal Statement, GPA, and maybe find a way to make yourself UNIQUE. Idk what your extracurriculars are? Do some charity work. I don't mean cancer walks, everyone can do that. Go volunteer time at a veterans home, go do some habitat for humanity, go to a community health clinic and volunteer in the dental clinic (super fun, honestly).

I'm wondering if there's some underlying reason I'm not seeing as to why they didn't call you? Very strong DAT, not a terrible GPA, Math major (cool for the diversity they look for)... I don't know what's missing.

I would start there! I would also consider emailing the dean of admissions from the school you interviewed at and see what he/she thinks you could improve.

Let me know if I can help in any way! You're very close.

Best of Luck,
Gage
