Do I need an audition rotation?

Attending school in southeast, wanting to practice in Midwest. Do I need an audition rotation with desired programs?

I’m not familiar with FM, but depending on your scores I doubt you’ll need auditions. If you are really set on a specific program you could do one there. But it may end up hurting more than it helps

No you definitely dont need one. However if you dont have any ties to the area it can help

Depends on where you want to end up. Podunk FM clinic versus Northwestern FM. Family or reason to be going there (i.e., ties) indeed makes the difference.

More chances of hurting than helping IMHO. Way more chances of error during rotations etc - as long as you are good on paper, don't take a chance.
