For Human Anatomy and Physiology, the lab is a separate class from the lecture at my university. I was curious if it is recommended to take the lab in addition to the lecture course.

I understand that all else equal, doing well in the lab in addition to the lecture would be better. However, if there is a time constraint, would it be sufficient to merely take the lecture?

You don't need the lecture either. Just take it if you want to.

Nope, but I do recommend it.

I know I do not need A/P. The only classes I 'need' are the core requirements (bio, chem, organic chem, physics, and biochem for some schools). I guess I was curious about whether or not taking this would be beneficial since I would not have any classes besides the core requirements and then if the lab portion was needed as well.

Personally I think you should have the lab in order to get the complete picture, but it's not necessary. Just for your own personal knowledge standpoint, taking the lab would be beneficial. It would also give you a good basis for med school anatomy.
