I was born in Kazakhstan, came to Canada when I was 3. English and Russian are my native languages (which is what I listed on my AMCAS). I attended English schools, and currently I am attending an English university in Canada.

I am applying to American medical schools. Is it necessary for me to take the TOEFL test, or any other test for international students for that matter?

Thanks

No you are fine. Your English proficiency, as long as we are talking about medical schools in the US, is shown if you can graduate from a US or Canadian university.
